Just a dream (7)

I woke up from this crazy dream the other night and while brushing my teeth and driving to work, it got me thinking about what it all meant. You know how people say if you dream about falling, it’s because you have no control in your life. Or if someone dies in a dream, it means some sort of luck for that person. Look, I honestly have no idea behind the meanings of dreams or anything like that. All I really know is sometimes you have good dreams like being able to fly like Superman, and other times you’re stuck in an endless loop of serving bad customers and the store you work at just won’t close and you’re constantly trying to get everyone out, but they just keep on walking in!

Up, up and away… (5)

Yesterday I spoke about Ben Affleck leaving the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman from the DCEU franchise. While he played the role three times in Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad and Justice League, he has now departed the role making way for a younger Dark Knight to take over. And while this hasn’t officially been confirmed, Ben Affleck did retweet something which all but confirmed it.

New Major Comic Event

Before I begin, this was originally a follow-up post to something I wrote over a year ago. It was left unpublished and will maybe one day see the light of day…but not sure yet.

After twenty years of buying and collecting comics, I’m going to stop and spend my money on something else.

As I have mention in some of my blogs in the past, I have been actively collecting a selection of Marvel comics since the mid 1990s. Spider-Man, and anything related, throughout that time I usually picked up. And during that twenty plus year period, buying comics has cost me thousands of dollars and years of entertainment. Characters in comics have been friends as well as inspirations. Yet, as I have found lately, comics have just turned to garbage.
