There has been so much talk lately about the Nintendo NX, so much so that I felt it was necessary to add my two cents as well as give a rundown on what I would love from it. There will also be some talk about the latest rumours which have recently been flooding the internet.
For those not up to date on the rumours or what the NX actually is, I’ll give a recap. The NX is the code name for Nintendo’s next generation console hopefully arriving March 2017. With the Wii U coming to the end of its life-cycle, dying a painful death, Nintendo announced to investors the company was working on a new system called NX. no details were released, but suffice to say, it is coming.
Earlier in the month, the Top Five Disappointing Games 2014 went up, and it was a hell of a list. This is my follow up to that list and as the title suggests, it contains my favourite games of 2014. I’ve played more this year, and because of that I’ve expanded to a total of six. It’s a Top Five plus One.
Be warned, there may be SPOILERS AHEAD so if you see a title and haven’t played it yet, be careful.
Review Super Smash Bros. series as a whole has been around since the Nintendo 64 days. I was there from day one enjoying the series from that moment onward. Although I wasn’t a big fan of the Wii version of Smash Bros, when news came of a series release for the Wii U and 3DS, I was sold. After a year since Pokemon X & Y my 3DS was beginning to gather some dust, but thankfully the dust has been wiped cleaned. And testament to the quality of Nintendo products, my 3DS XL still held a charge.
I remember back all the way to November 2012 when the Wii U was released. My eyes were wide open, my heart was ready give love and my hands were eager to play some Nintendo games. And I did. That sounded so dirty… Anyway, I was in love with the Wii U console and couldn’t believe that Nintendo had finally entered the HD era of gaming. I was excited at the amount of gaming I was prepared to do on this beautiful looking, and designed, console.
