George who? During the filming of You Only Live Twice, Sean Connery announced his retirement from the role of British Secret Service Agent, James Bond 007. He had had enough of the role and wanted to do other projects. So as pre-production began on On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, the call was put out. Hundreds, if not thousands, auctioned for the lead role and if wasn’t until an Australian model by the name of George Lazenby, walked through the door, that the producers found their man.

Blog Update 006 – Marvel Cinematic Universe Civil War

Please know, there will be SPOILERS for the MARVEL Cinematic Universe from previous films and me talking about rumours in the films to come. If you care by now, you have already seen or read all about the Marvel Event which took place in the last 24 hours. If not, seek it out because it will blow your mind.

I’m not here to update on that but I will be speculating a hell of a lot. While seeing all the updates during work, I couldn’t help but feel the need to get my thoughts down. And since this is a blog update, my thoughts are strictly on the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) right now. So consider the following words to be me trying to get my head around all the latest news.

Ultimate James Bond List – Goldfinger (1964)

The Ultimate James Bond List – Goldfinger (1964)

What is the Ultimate James Bond List, you may be asking? Well it’s really simple. As I review each 007 film, I make a list of each film so that everyone can compare the actors and films against each other. You may have read my review for Goldfinger, but if not, find it here. Either way, take a look at the list, and if possible watch the film and follow along. Let me know if I’ve missed something from the list and drop a comment below. ENJOY!

Ultimate James Bond List – From Russia With Love (1963)

The Ultimate James Bond List – From Russia With Love (1963)

Welcome back this month for the Ultimate James Bond List, this time covering the second entry in the 007 franchise, From Russia With Love. As I said last month, the entire point of the list is to allow anyone to compare each generation and actor against one another. Once all films are complete, it will make for some very interesting reading, so get ready to have your mind blown away…or maybe not. Either way, give it a read and let me know what you think.

If you would like to read my thoughts on the film itself, it can be found here.

Ultimate James Bond List – Dr. No (1962)

Ultimate James Bond List – Dr. No (1962)

A lot of people talk about the different James Bond actors and like to compare each and every aspect. So with my most recent James Bond film viewings, I decided to compile a list. The Ultimate James Bond list for myself and anyone else that has ever wondered about which 007 has bedded the most women, to who kills the most. Best part about it all is that once the list is complete, everyone will be able to easily compare each and every part of the list to the different the films, actors and across generations.

Below you will find the list. 12 titles in total and each belonging to a different subject matter. A brief description beside each title will clue you in on the subject matter, in case the titles themselves throw you off.
