James Bond Ultimate List – 007 Franchise (1962 – 2015)

James Bond Ultimate List – 007 Franchise (1962 – 2015)

Before I begin, if you wish to read all preview Reviews and Ultimate Lists, head here and find links to each film.

Watching and reviewing all the James Bond films from Dr. No to Spectre proved a challenging experience for me. It made me focus on my writing much more than before, and also had me criticising a film franchise I had never spoken ill of in the past, except for Die Another Day.

The experience was also very fun and was a wonderful two years of my life. It let me re-watch the 007 films on Blu Ray in full HD and marvel at the picture and sound quality but most important of all, I was able to see the shift in cinema from the early 1960’s to current day. So much has changed from then to now, especially when it came time to compile my Ultimate Lists, I was able to track how each film and actor changed with the times.

So below I will have the Ultimate James Bond List covering all 24 of the official EON produced 007 films. All six actors will be covered and a combined amount will conclude the Ultimate List and allow me to put a bookend on the James Bond franchise as a whole.

007 – Each time the Bond theme song is heard.
You Know My Name – Bond, James Bond count. When it is said by Bond himself.
Felix Leiter – If James Bond smokes on-screen.
Nobody Does It Better – Whenever Bond beds a woman, implied of course.
Shaken, Not Stirred – All alcoholic beverages Bond consumes.
Licence To Kill – Every kill caused by Bond himself directly.
Aston Martin DB5 – Any and all modes of transport Bond travels by.
I Never Joke About My Work – Any gadget Bond uses in the field provided by Q branch.
I Have A Dinner Jacket – Whenever Bond wears a tuxedo.
For Queen and Country – All location visited by 007.
Yes, I Know, Don’t Tell Me – Any chase 007 finds involved in.
Ninja Training – Any team vs team shoot out with each team being greater than 10 members.

So there you have it. 24 months of covering the James Bond franchise has finally come to an end. Now the big question is, what happens when Bond 25 is released? Well, I will be bringing a Review and Ultimate List and updating this post when that happens.

Whether Daniel Craig returns to the franchise or not us Bond fans need to stand by this longest and greatest franchise in cinema history.
